Are You a Purpose Seeker Struggling to Find Your Place?

Do You Feel Like You are Settling for Less Than Your Best?

For most of my life, I have been told that I can do anything that I set my mind to. While this is technically true, it does not mean that I want to do everything I'm capable of doing. As a matter of fact, there are quite a few things that I can do that I actually do not enjoy doing or even want to do. Because of this, I have discovered that I often get stuck in average. Have you ever been there? Knowing you are capable of so much more, yet not achieving the results you wanted?

In today’s world, it seems that more and more people are getting stuck, and the pandemic has revealed the true nature of where they are. They realized that they are not satisfied with where they are or what they are doing, sometimes even with whom they are in a relationship. They are discontented with one or more areas of their lives and seeking a path that will lead them to fulfillment, harmony, and the ability to make a contribution.

So, let me ask you, have you had an ah-ha moment in the past few months or years that made you question where you are and what you are doing? Do you find yourself stuck between where you are and where you want to be? If so, take a few minutes to download and engage with my eBook, Are You Paying for Your Mindset, or Is It Paying You?

Maybe you have been just going through the motions for years and are tired of the same old routines. Maybe you keep doing the same things over and over again, hoping that at some point you will break through and find that perfect opportunity. And all that happens is that you end up in the same place you started in, realizing that you just went into another big circle.

In my life, I have experienced this continuously as I have pursued my desire to make a difference in the lives of the people I serve. I started as a pastor, then I was a community living supervisor for adults with mental disabilities, then I was a youth pastor, then I was a chaplain and director at a day center for people experiencing homelessness. Working in each place, I have seen ways to influence people and help them achieve a better life, while not advancing in my own life.

It was like I had some unseen force holding me back that kept me from reaching my potential. Each time I took a few steps forward, I would end up taking several backward. I would walk along a path only to find that it brought me right back to the place where I started.
